It’s true! New Orleans does not have a monopoly on “Les Bons Temps” during this time of the year. Indeed, Winter Park offers a constant, pleasurable hum of activity throughout the year, but a vibrant energy takes hold in the Spring.
Families fill the parks. Banners hail the Winter Park Sidewalk Arts Festival, and azalea bushes display their spring best in an array of vibrant colors. Beyond the Festival happening this very weekend, sophisticated and whimsical events fill the calendar.

Winter Park Farmers’ Market

Without a doubt, residents of Lake Killarney Shores of Winter Park will take advantage of this regular event! Located at the historic old train depot, the popular Winter Park Farmers’ Market takes place every Saturday morning from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Besides the fun of running into friends and neighbors, you will appreciate the market’s fine produce, plants, cheeses, baked goods and more. And, of course, you may indulge yourself with savory coffee and a ham and cheese croissant, while you watch over the vibrant scene of shoppers.

The charming market was recently featured in the article – “10 Farmers’ Markets in the South to Explore” – in the March/April 2019 issue of Taste of the South magazine.
Please note: The Winter Park Farmers’ Market is closed each year on the third Saturday in March due to the Winter Park Sidewalk Art Festival.
